Dashing, undulating flight. Territorial, communal groups of 7-15 birds. Conspicuous, loud. Aggressively chases other birds from feeding areas. Feeds on nectar and insects. Loud, rollicking trills. Similar to Singing Honeyeater, but louder with more variation.
Found in coastal forests, mangroves, open woodlands, dunes, thickets, parks, gardens.
