Undulating flight. Noisy flocks of 30-40. Southeast highland birds partially migrate northward in autumn, returning in spring. Feeds in upper canopy for manna and honeydew, also nectar, insects, lerp. Soft, trilled piping. Harsh hissing, No song.
Found in open forests, tall eucalypt woodlands, gardens.
