Often seen in fast-moving flocks. Competely arboreal. Flocks follow seasonal ripening of rainforest and palm fruits, including Camphor Laurel fruits in absence of native fruits. Relies on rain water and dew for moisture.

Found in coastal rainforests and adjacent woodlands.
