Noted for its speed. Swoops on prey at more than 300km/h. Soars high. Stiff, shallow wingbeats and interspersed glides. Presence is marked by noisy panic among other birds. Rapid pursuit, snatching mostly small birds and animals with its powerful hooked talons.
