Often seen performing spectacular high plunge-diving off the coast. Effortless flight and glides, flying in lines close to waves, wheeling, soaring, high-diving and plunging after prey with folded wings from a height of up to 15m.

Found in coastal and offshore waters, estuaries and bays.
